Read this 2nd, ok?. So I downloaded the app to see if I could use the animal translator, but NO! Right away it says I have to pay. Just. To. Translate. One. Language. I would understand if you would have to pay to unlock ALL the languages, but you have to pay. So, yeah the developer is saying that it is free but it’s NOT. And I know the developer reply is going to say “oH WeLL WE OFFeR YoU A 3 Day FReE TriAl.” But on the go, 3 days isn’t a lot of time, and besides, that doesn’t mean you pay 40 dollars a year after that. P.S: Sorry if a sound harsh.

Download = Subscription. Hi, I downloaded this app because I needed to know what French words mean because I was reading a book that was using some French words. But turns out, if you download the app and continue to use it, get ready to pay $40 a year! Some of the responses to other reviews like this was that there’s an option to keep using the basic things. But no, I don’t see any on there. If the developer is reading this, keep in mind that not everybody can just pay $40 outta the blue!

Doesn’t do what it advertises for.. I seen an add from this app saying that it can translate what your cat can say, I downloaded it thinking that it can translate what my cat is saying. Once it downloaded I opened it and it wants me to pay 8 FREAKING dollars a month! That is way to much to price an app. Plus it doesn’t translate my cat. Biggest disappointment of an app! I could get how this could be useful for some people but if they would just advertise what the app actually does, it would have a better rating.

NO. ok so when I first open this app, it asks me do I want to do the free trial? So i click x but then it goes back to another thing asking me about the free trail and I'm like no. So i click back but it goes back to another thing asking me for the free trail. I mean, come on! You guys could've done so much better! It's when I first want to open the app, I just want to have fun! You guys could've done so much more. Now, I don't like this app. What if I don't want a free trail and don't want to pay money, huh? What if I cant pay money from my dad’s bank account for a stupid game?

Is anyone paying attention. This is a joke. Is there no control over scams like this? I am surprised Apple tolerates it. Don’t get it. They want to charge you $1 a day approx. and you don’t even have a chance to see if it works. I still don’t know if the program will translate the language I want. Why? Because you have to commit to pay $7.95 a week before you can use the app. Sure you get 3 days free trial that’s a technique from a carnival. Don’t do it. You’ll be sorry. At least read the reviews. They are heavily weighted on the “this is a scam” side of things. If this company wants to continue like this, the least they can do is tell you on the front end their marketing strategy. Sad

Do not do it unless you want to pay $7:99 a week. For one I wanted to translate animals were saying and that’s not even in it. it was in the commercials and that is stupid if you put something in commercial that’s not actually on the app people that is false advertisement if you do that and you can get Sued for false advertisement. moral of the story is I wanted to work on my animals but it’s not even in the app so do not put something in a commercial that’s not in your app unless you wanna get sued and paid a lot of money. So if you are thinking of getting this app do not get it unless you want to pay $7:99.

Bad game. When I saw the game on a ad I looked awesome. I wanted to make my dog talk well technically not talk but I wanted to see what she was saying when she barked . But when I got the app it said that I should start a free trail and it wouldn’t let me get out of the free trail to do the apps it didn’t have an X anything so I was just stuck. So is it I don’t know if it will happen to you. But it happened to me so I think it’s a bad game because when my dog barks I want to see what she was actually saying stop or I love this or what is that thing go away. So in my opinion I think it’s a bad game but you should try it.

Good but a few tweaks will make it great. I have a girlfriend with a father who only speaks Spanish. I am currently learning Spanish so I cannot speak it fluently. I’ve been through many apps to try and have conversations with him and they were always so expensive. I found this one for a better price which is wonderful and I subscribed for a year. As someone who has tried multiple other voice to translate apps I noticed some things and have some suggestions. Sometimes the translation will start before you are finished talking. This can disrupt the flow of a conversation. I suggest giving it a longer window of time before it announces the translation or better yet a button to press when you are finished. I did turn off the auto translate button in the setting which helped but conversations are slightly less fluid now. Also- some of the translations are innacurate until I use the AI magic afterwards. This makes things slower. May I suggest a setting to auto add AI magic whenever you speak. I like this app a lot. Just some suggestions

False Info from developer. I read the developers response to a review that indicated there was a free trial you could use for free. They indicated it was free with limited features. The free trial is 3 days, then $4.99 per week. I believe a 3 day free trial to be a pretty limited feature, so I guess they were right. They obviously don’t have a lot of faith in their product and would like to at least capture the first $4.99 before you get around to canceling. Pretty sleazy practice, in my opinion!

CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN. Somebody should sue this developer and refund all the money to people they duped. People, do not download this app! Downloading means subscribing. A trial of 3 days becomes a subscription AUTOMATICALLY for $7.99 a week with auto renewal. No action needed on your part, it just subscribes you automatically. Deleting the app (even if you just tried it for 10 minutes) does not unsubscribe you. You have to go to your app store settings to unsubscribe. It’s not easy to find this setting either. Let me repeat. If you download this, it will result in AUTOMATIC SUBSCRIPTION after 3 days (even of you deleted the app). It’s $7.99 A WEEK with AUTOMATIC RENEWAL.

Don't download waste of storage. This app is a waste of storage I went into it seems like a cool app, then I try to get into it so I can actually translate some things and it says premium. So I look for an X button and there’s no X button so I’ve just kept looking and seeing if there’s a way out so turns out you either have to buy premium or there’s some secret way to get out of the page it’s so annoying I don’t like this app it's horrible

Extremely slow to translate. It takes forever to process translation when speaking into the mic. This basically defeats the purpose of translation. You’re better off using a free google translator app. Do not pay for this horribly coded app. Note to dev: please do more qa testing, and actually use this app in a real life conversation and you will see the pain point of this app. Otherwise, if anyone can recommend an actual live conversation translator i will pay a lot for that. This app needs work.

If I could give it 0 I would. The game is the worst. In the add it said” you can talk to your pets” but NO it said PAY PAY AND PAY this is I think horrible. Like yea. Hi, my name is Violet and so when I saw the ad I got really excited so I download it and then I just saw Spanish and English so I decided to go to settings but when I pressed on settings, nothing popped up I was just the same screen so I try to do this a lot of times but nothing popped up and I want to know pet, not Spanish, so could you please fix that that’s all I really need to say😅 I usually don’t write reviews this short😅😅 bye! Wonderful communication tool. First of all not only is the app easy to use and certainly practical, its actually a good deal of fun! I’ve tried a few other translators in the past, but compared to them this one is amazing. Not only does it make it easier to translate, it allows me to hear what I’ve translated into any language colloquially. Of course that’s supposed to be what a translator app should do. But not all apps such as these are created equal. Also, I use the app for more than translating common phrases for my housekeeper and gardener, friends and neighbors. I’m in the midst of learning French. By translating phrases from the French language tutorials into this app, or anything really, I get to hear how it should sound. It’s an excellent tool.

It works but... It says the exact same thing 🫤. I downloaded it and I was just wondering if my dog will actually like the app but then …later that day I he was barking and I was wondering what was he saying so I was useing the app and he said:hello : and I was curious if he actually shahid it I pressed it again but the he said: bark:and I said that’s weird . I download this app to talk to my dog and I’m trying it if it’s working I really want to know what is he saying for I can see and if I really really really works I will try to stop every day before I come back from school and it’s gonna be amazing so I really want to try this app if it really works or not

NOT a Free App. After installing, you open the app and are immediately brought to a page that wants you to pay for a subscription or do a free trial. There is an X in the top left corner, so I pressed that. It then brings you to another page that says they will give you 50% off if you accept the deal within a certain amount of seconds. Since I have no interest in paying for this app, I waited for the deal countdown and then was hoping an X would pop up in the corner like the previous page. There is no way to exit unless you close out of the app completely. Basically you have to pay to use the app or use it temporarily with a free trial. However, you can not access the app at all unless you select one of the two.

WHY. Its free to install, but then to like translate and even get into it, you have to pay 30 dollars a year!!! No one’s gonna do that! And the creator replied to someone and said that you could just continue with regular features for free, but no! It doesn’t give you an option to do that! Like why make a free game and then make it not free?!? And say it is free! Worst waste of my time ever! (Not counting the time I typed every single emoji) Edit: Also If the creator is reading this, plz fix this or tell me how to go into the app with basic functions, cuz it doesn’t give you the option to!!!

No Free version. This app is listed as being free on the app store, but you can’t actually use it. When you open the app you will be stonewalled with multiple different subscription pages. There is a 3-day free trial option after which you will automatically be charged $4.99 per week. It seems to be trying to capitalize off of people’s likelihood to forget to cancel before the end of the free trial and get them to pay for at least a week whether they want to or not. I don’t know why apps like this always charge a n a weekly basis, or why it is so expensive.$5 a week? Seriously? That’s more than the cost of pretty much any video streaming service, even after all the recent price increases.

This app only works if I am yelling near mic to translate. Tried simultaneous translation with this app but it is all but impractical for simultaneous translation purposes, I need the person speaking to be really close to the mic and speak loudly in order to translate, which is not what I was imagining this would do at all. I would’ve liked to have simultaneous translation on a meeting, or on a speech at a convention for example, where the speaker cannot be literary yelling at my phone mic. This is why this app for me is 1 star, why have this when I could simply use Google translator in case I have someone next to me????

It doesn’t work. best app. this app is amazing! when i tried to understand what a person is speaking to me but i dont understand it. i use this app. i use a lot and it helps me learn a language that i dont even know and it helps me understand more stuff. who ever made this app, shout out to you because you guys help me a lot on my language. and thank you who ever made this app because this app helps me a lot. who ever read this. Why is this necessary?. Ok, I’m sure this app is great, but I have a big problem with it. I downloaded this to translate spanish easier, but when I opened the app, it immediately asked for a subscription fee. I obviously don’t want to spend my money with the chance that its bad, so I tried to exit off of it. Apparently, that subscription unlocks the entire app. Why wouldn’t you say this in the advertisement or description? If your gonna ask a fee, why don’t you make it 5 bucks on the app store? Also, the subscriptions aren’t very cheap. It was listed for 5 bucks a week, with a free trial as bait. It is much easier to pull up Google translate then spend your money on this app. This app lasted about 3 minutes on my phone overall. I would say to not waste your money on this app when you can get a free app or use Google.

Speech recognition and translation does not work well enough to use. I tried to use this app to help me translate when abroad and the apps functionality was pretty useless. I was expecting a lot more for the price they try and charge. I forgot to cancel after my free trial and tried to cancel right after I got charged for the next week and they denied my refund request. Would definitely not recommend paying for this service

Works, but some user issues. I saw this on someone else’s phone and it worked perfectly for them, but when I loaded it on my phone, it started in another language than what I needed, and then when I was in a rush while traveling I couldn’t figure out how to change languages. I removed it before the end of the trial, but the app still charged me because I should have gone into the app and cancelled the subscription directly. Removing the app does not cancel the trial.

Why is EVERYTHING a subscription?!. Seriously all the apps In the App Store and literally like 95% of them now are all subscription based. Worst part is, they all offer a “Free Trial” but this so called free trial leads to a subscription that will auto renew FOREVER unless you go to the Apple App Store and find it in the settings and cancel it. Everything is all subscribing now. I can kinda understand it with apps such as music apps and things like that, but really... this kind of app would be better sticking a fixed fee on and letting people decide that way. It’s not like it’s an app that updates daily / weekly or anything. The languages aren’t going to change or anything. So why not just a fixed fee or free even? Seriously if you want apps these days you have to have a tonne of subscriptions and it’s really not fair. Who’s got that kind of money? I sure don’t. Nice idea. Horrible pricing. Goodbye app.

Voice translation. I’m glad I used the three day trial instead of purchasing app. I tried the voice text option and the app did not pick up my voice. I thought it could be my phone so I made a couple calls, used a different translator app and my microphone worked perfectly. Next, I went to setting, turned and back on microphone still did not work. I have a iPhone 13max pro so it’s not outdated. App simply didn’t work as well as I thought

This is the worst game. It shouldn’t even be considered a game it’s so stupid and you have to pay money I chose to do the limited addition and I guess it’s kind a cool talking in a Different way Siri what that means and it would be done in four seconds I think that this game is such a rip off because I paid subscriptions before and I got in so much trouble and I had to pay $384 and I am not getting hooked on another subscription I’m sure if somebody actually did the subscription it would be cool but trust me do not do this app it cost so much money 💰 No

Amazing. 5star you can get free trial and hack in a way: click free trial/ enable free trial buy it succeed go to settings click subscriptions click delete or whatever in red then you’ll still be able to use it for like a year or something!

Audio isn’t even available for half the languages. Plus, I didn’t purchase the app but it somehow became my new $39 app. — *With the new iPhone, the confirmation is the users face. So the fact that I was interested and looking at my phone to read about the app, there was a Would You Like To Purchase question, to which my face evidently agreed to. I immediately tried to contact someone to cancel what had just happened, less than two minutes prior, but it has taken several days. Finally happened though 👍

Garbage with a capital G!. I paid for the premium version and I end up using free Google translate because this app is useless!! The camera translator is a joke. The audio translator is wrong 95% of the time. I’m traveling to Colombia from the United States and 98% of my translations comeback incorrect and I look like a moron. It’s slow as malassas and I spend more time fighting with the app then using it for anything productive! Also, this review was not written in haste out of frustration. I’ve used this app for a week and waited several days before writing a review. I will be canceling my subscription as soon as I finish submitting this review. Use at your own risk!

Please read developer. I want to Download this app but every time it starts to load it in it keeps restarting the loading if this is only happening too me than It’s okay. Okay let’s be honest. It has great potential I think the adds are a bit weird I agree that it should be free for the voice translation part you can do whatever you want idc it’s your (and if you see this not the developer) try Duolingo it’s free I love it it teaches you any language.

Very accurate but. When I use it it translates words into a very accurate translation and I know this because I know how to speak Chinese and the translator translated the exact same but sometimes for some people, when you get the app it says it’s free but when I go in then it forces me to get the money version or whatever you call that and there’s no x or cancel button to politely say no the problem is that you have to click the pay button to even play this app so yeah and please tell me a way to say no to being forced to get the payed version

Makes you pay just to play it. The best app for different languages. It is so good especially since I want to learn how to speak Spanish and the way it is spoken is so beautiful. This app is able to do many more things than most apps can,especially when is comes down texting it and saying it in your normal language.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. so I opened this app thinking it was going to be cool, and when it was open, it put a $30 subscription that I had to click, I saw an ‘X’ and tried to click it, but it just sent me to another page that told me to buy the subscription, and I don’t wanna pay $30 a year to get some app that might not even work, so I’m not about to spend my money on a game that might not work. You never know if the game will work or not whenever it has a subscription on the front, because you have to pay to get in, if you didn’t have to pay to get in you could just look at the game. If it was a good game you would know. But you don’t, so if you get the subscription you’ll never know beforehand if it’s a good or bad game. Disappointed. I downloaded this app to see what my cat says and the cat translation made the same sounds even if it’s a different word/sentence and I was disappointed to find this out the hard way devs if you are reading this make this at least more sounds or make this more accurate thank you

Mate every kid wants to talk to a pet but meow meow doesn’t mean feed me but I used this app with a exchange student and it worked pretty well I used this app at school with the Japanese student and he understand but one time he asked to sleep together and I acted like I didn’t understand great app though im gonna say 4 star tho since it’s cool

MALWARE ALERT!!! STOLE CC INFO. Tried free trial and few hrs later got transactions across the country beware!!! Nah! nope! Not free trial issue! your app have malware. In matter of hours after subscribing, numerous fraud transaction with same card I used to subscribe.

Annoying auto correct applied to wrong language. When entering foreign language text (eg when learning how to pronounce it), Siri will try to change each word into one from your local language. The app fails to configure Siri correctly. Eg Changing Siri settings for the app seems to have no effect.

Al Translator. I tried the free 3 day trial. I canceled the trial on the 24 hour mark, so as not to incur fees. I found the translator very helpful. Cool Application. Very friendly and helpful app!

Poor voice recognition. Only works reasonably on live speech with good pronunciation. Any imperfections in pronunciation, background noise, speaking while smiling and a slight slang and translation is guessing and missing most of it. If repeated, the same sentence will be translated 5 different ways and totally wrong every time. When running simultaneously on two devices (iPhone and iPad mini) translations are almost never same and totally unrelated

Scam app, advertisements are totally false. Ads say it uses your own voice to speak back in an other language. It does not. Its a scam.

AI Translator. The app itself is fine however the voice recognition doesn’t work well. Found myself trying everything in for accuracy.

People should have a option that lets them use it for free but has less options than the payed version. The app would have been very good if we didn’t have to pay.

Inaccurate. The app is not free, it won’t allow you to use the app until you pay. I got this because my coworker said it came with apple and we had folks from Turkey work with us for awhile. After a couple times of using the app, there was a bit of confusion and they said that the translation is not accurate.

Be wary. I downloaded this because they claimed there’s a basic plan free of charge in their replies. They’re lying. When you download and open the app, you either have to pay a yearly subscription, or a 3 day free trial auto renewed weekly subscription afterwards. There is no bypassing this screen, there is no basic plan free of charge, it requires subscription before any use.

Useless to have a translator app with a limit on the number of translations. It's rather silly and pointless to have an app that limits the daily number of translations. In the middle of an important meeting when I needed it most, the translation limit was reached and it rendered the app completely useless. Very frustrating to say the least. Will be cancelling my subscription and deleting it soon.

Wrong Transalations. I know Korean, and Japanese, and I am disappointed with the translations. They are ALL WRONG! I was hoping to give this app to my sister so she could learn as well, but forget that. It’s especially annoying that the basic translations are wrong to! If I could give this 0 star I would. Not worth it .... They shouldn’t show that they do pet translations if the app doesn’t actually offer it. 🙄 In all seriousness there are plenty of free apps that translate better (google translate, for one). My microphone works perfectly fine for texting and Siri, but for some reason it doesn’t catch many of the words I speak into this app. $8 a week is a rip off for this sub par service.

It’s Ok?. Ok, first it has a monthly trial and some users like me get annoyed by trials. I also couldn’t find my language that I was looking for. I got this app from instagram by watching an ad, and the ad showed the app on a phone and a cat, and the cat meowed and the phone translated it? But when I tried this app I tried it on my puppy barking but it didn’t translate it.

Not helpful enough. I had a great deal of difficulty switch between voice mode and text mode. In addition the person I tried to communicate with did not understand the translation.

Description of all plans?. I like the app and I am willing to buy but I want to have a description of all the plans. They just say premium, yearly, translator, translator+, etc can you all give me a breakdown of what each plan does so I can find the best plan to activate?

Waiting. It takes a long time to transcribe. The previous translator that on my iPhone was better. I got use it but it stopped working properly. The new one that was added is okay but I miss the old one.

Too difficult to figure out. I never used the app but spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to use it. Communicating with people from another country is already challenging. The last thing I wanted was another of anxiety trying to get the app to work. It did however manage to take my money. That part seemed to work just fine. I would not recommend this app to anyone. Doesn’t do what it promises. I use tinder to practice talking in other languages here in Spain. This app would be useful if it could translate tinder in real time. Maybe the premium version does? I have no idea because the app is useless without premium. And the three day free trial is a trap for people like me. It autorenews after three days and charges you. I always get tricked by those things. Sigh. This could’ve helped me a lot.

Charged twice for months. Not only is the app unsatisfactory- the voice recognition is unreliable and slow - I was charged double the amount of a premium plan every month without my knowledge. Until o found an invoice in the email that’s used to retrieve the Apple account, because as we all know, that cannot be your own address. Requested a refund

Bryan. The program is easy to use and works well. I communicate with people in Columbia and Ukraine and Latvia. The program converts my words flawlessly and accurately into these languages. I am very satisfied with the program!

Worst app yet... Don’t download this game, it makes you pay like 8 dollars a week for this app, unless you want to waste money on this app then yeah, that’s how you like it, ENJOY IT. I’m not paying for this app translator, I only want a app that’s free were I can talk to my dog. You can’t even say a letter to your pet without paying. I’d rate this app zero stars I’d I could. Terrible game 😫 I just want to talk to my pet for once. 😮‍💨

Why I think this app is great. I love this app so much! but the thing that I don’t like about it is the fact you have to subscribe to it. Maybe some people don’t like that .

Does not work!. I downloaded this app to try to understand Spanish that was being spoken in a show and show didn’t provide subtitles. It did NOT work. It would only pick up a 2-3 words at a time. If you’re trying to use in an actual conversation with more than a few-word phrase, find a different app because this one is terrible!!!

Can’t use it without paying. I can’t use this app at all. When I open the app a pay wall pops up. There is an x in the top left of the screen but when I tap that a different pay wall pops up that I can’t tap x on. I really want to use it but I’m not paying for it. Yes I know it says there is a free trial but I’m not tapping that because whenever there is a free trial for things, it’s hard to cancel the subscription.
