APPsolutely. If you have young children, you know how time consuming the day after day challenge of keeping them occupied as well as entertained can be. The Dove Channel is a marvelous, safe, and uplifting entertainment choice to have the little ones mesmerized with quality compelling shows. Within a few minutes after seeing this you can have the app downloaded and up and running turning your device into a multiplex. Absolutely terrific!

Latest app update a step backwards. Latest update does not go to landscape mode which severely happens its use on iPad.

don’t sign up - IT ISN’T FREE. you will be charged and given a bunch of bogus info about cancelling. they told me i had to cancel thru apple. apple says they don’t do that it needs to come from dove movies are the same as what you get from cable or netflix

Can not cancel without contacting??. Very frustrated as this is billed under apple monthly and there is no simple way that I can find to cancel my subscription. I have ended up paying a year more because I can’t cancel. We have six children, they do not use it. I can not get on the app with my current phone due to multiple devices. Logging in on the web site doesn’t even recognize my paid subscription but it knows my name and data and even here I can not cancel. Yet, every month on the apple bill is $4.99 Dove channel. Arrgh!

Safe for all ages. Can’t wait for Heartland. Great app but just want more new stuff!

Seems like a good app with great movies but.... I have the iPhone X and this app will not work with my phone. It only shows half the screen, so I can’t scroll through the movies easily or see what they are about. I also can’t watch the movies due to the app staying vertical. I have tried multiple times to try to flip the screen but it just won’t do it. Fix that and it’ll be a 5 star app!

Dove Doc Night. Finally, some time to watch what I want. Question is, “what do I want?” with all that is so easily accessible on the Dove Channel. I rarely get to see documentaries at my local cinema so I am settled on an app with so many to choose from those currently available. Perhaps it will be “The Wild Parrots Of Telegraph Hill,” “Seabiscuit,” or some “Alfred Hitchcock Master of Suspense.” I will get set, close my eyes and tap my finger on the app and let chance be my movie date tonight. Tomorrow, I can get out my smartphone and do it all over again.

Cancel. I need to cancel this it just showed up trying to charge my credit card and I already deleted the app the second day I had it please help me

The free movies are not impressive enough to get me!. I have Purflix and was looking for a broader range of movies I see a lot of titles that I like but not sure if I want to subscribe. That’s why I rated it a two I understand not giving free range but a larger range of movies would be better! I’m still undecided if I’m going to change or not I like the price that’s a plus but my wife later!

App is not working on my  tv.. I love this app and for some reason it is not working on my  tv. I went to my mothers to see if it worked on hers but she is also having the same issue it will not open. Hope your team can fix this issue soon.

Independent Films on Independence Day. This summer is in full swing with July 4th already here! I suggested that we make this independence day an independent film day. Now all we have to decide is what to B-B-Q and whether to watch the Dove Channels Top Picks or some Action Adventure before the fire works! Movies with the click of an app.

Decent enough idea, but the app is lousy. I am mean from the movies and shows are pretty mixed, but at least they’ve tried to select better material (morally speaking), and give you information about each one. And of course they don’t have really bad (again, morally) shows like on the mainstream services. but this app… Let me put it this way, I checked and I haven’t logged in for just over two years. I remember that this app was buggy and hard to use and that’s one of the biggest reasons I stopped using it or subscribing. And coming back now, it doesn’t seem to be any better. The interface is almost unusable. No landscape mode, it’s often not obvious where to tap or swipe to change screens or get back to where you were, sometimes there’s gobbledygook instead of text, and I got to one screen where I couldn’t get back out of it at all.

Looking Foward. I basically tuned in to the Channel this past weekend and I was super surprised by the quality of available entertainment offered immediately. I enjoyed an animation film on Saturday and then an emotional and informative documentary on Sunday. Looking forward to a workweek of guilty pleasure with movies I have just never seen before.

Not working. I can’t get it to work on any of my devices. And there is no way to cancel my subscription.

The Best. These are shows and movies that I love watching and is for the entire family❣️Thank You for everything.

This app is beyond bad. The content itself, not bad. The app? Prepare for agony. There are no clear menus, no clear place to search, and no indication of how to do much of anything, assuming it even works. I want to patronize good businesses, but I’m prevented from doing that, because this app’s design is so bad. Please make this better, and I’ll come back.

Summertime Binge-watching. I don’t feel the least bit guilty spending hours watching multiple episodes of some of my old TV favorites streaming on the very cool Dove Channel during this steamy and rainy summer weather. From Desi & Lucy to episode after episode of “Highway to Heaven”, with some time to grab some more chips and dip before switching to a riveting evening drama or action movie at the tap of this app. I don’t have to skip a beat or move off the couch for hours. Watch, snack, do it again. I love summertime.

Great heaven sent. I am very thankful for the wonder of the Dove Program. I am grateful for the great variety of movies... I have only one problem. On the viewing on my smart tv...will come on a while then say try later almost halfway through the movie...so then I will have to finish watching from my phone... it's so frustrating, but I have no another choice. I was hoping maybe it would get better somehow... I have been waiting for channel option on smart tv. Please 🙏🏽 please 🙏🏽 make whatever adjustments necessary so I will be able to really enjoy my movies on my tv... I hope 🙏🏽 too that I am having to pay for the use on both tv and cell... I.am a member...I don't know the cost but I'm on a fixed income...to God be the glory 🙇🏽🙏🏽💜😊

On Budget. Until I download this Dove Channel app it had been quite awhile since I have enjoyed so many wonderful films that suite my sensibilities. While I get the summer roller coaster blockbuster parade dominating the mutilplexes with their mega sound, roller coaster 3D, IMAX spectacle; I find thee motion pictures dizzying to my senses. And the ticket price is as huge as the screens! Affordable, more gentle watchable stories are what I have found most pleasurable to enjoy after the nightly news reports. Now, with the app I can afford to watch as much as I can make time for all week long, without breaking my budget.

WARNING. Do NOT use this service unless you are looking for disappointment and deception. I tried to cancel my subscription 2 times and yet it continued. Asked for help from The customer support - found out they don't have support. Very disappointed that they claim to be Christian and treat people this way.

Half of a screen. When I open my app it only shows the top portion of the screen. Sometimes if I turn it off and on a few times it will work. Please fix this.

Great films for all.. Great films for all ages. Classics and the kids love the shows. Definitely a household daily used app.

Movie Night. We are making tonight a Dove Channel movie night at our home. Looking forward to an air-conditioned, popcorn feast in couch comfort at home sweet home. The channel is offering a selection of free, quality films without venturing outside to enjoy beautiful movies and each other. This is technology our family will enjoy together.

Disappointed but hopeful .... This looks like the content is great! However...It won’t rotate from portrait to landscape. The words and descriptions run into and over each other, or cut off and drop to the next line. I don’t know what the subscription/costs are because I can’t read it. I won’t be able to use this app until it’s corrected. Looking forward for an update so I can use it!

Christmas in July- 5 stars. I’m a sucker for a good love story, especially when it comes to Christmas-themed movies. I was thrilled to see that when I downloaded Dove Channel I found several Christmas romance films that I can watch year-round at the touch of the app. What I really love about Dove Channel is that it has my favorite kind of movies that I also know will be ok to watch with kids. For each movie they give a ranking for the degree of sexuality, language, violence, and drug use that is included in the movie, so I know when I find a Christmas movie I want to watch with low scores in those categories I’ll be able to enjoy them with my family.

Dove Channel. I love the Dove Channel! It good Christian programming. I can trust the content and can be entertained as well.

Great find!!. Such a great app, so glad I downloaded it! I love the wide array of movies and tv shows available on this site as a basic member. Trying to charge my account. I don’t know why you keep trying to charge my card when I never downloaded your app. Please stop trying to take money where I did not give you permission to.

Dove channel. I subscribed, but have never watched it. I am sure it is a perfectly awesome app. I would like to cancel my subscription, but am unable to get it done. On the receipt sent to my email, there should be an unsubscribe option.

App should stay logged in. I have to sign in every time I watch the Dove Channel on my TV. All of my other movie apps remain logged in. So having to do this every time for dove gets annoying. Maybe I’m just lazy but I’d rather just be able to turn it on right away when I get off work. Other then that issue, I think the Dove Channel is my favorite. I greatly appreciate how Dove has family appropriate shows and I haven’t seen any sex scenes so far which is great! That gets annoying on the other movie networks out there.

A safe place for the family. My family and I really enjoy the Dove Channel. There’s finally a place to go with only positive content. My only criticism is that not enough people know about it. You should do campaign blitzes on Tiktok, Facebook etc. to spread the word. It’s a cost effective way to advertise.

Better than pureflix. Good clean movies!

A Vast and Appropriate Library of Quality Films. I have tried a number of streaming apps, and as of this writing, the Dove Channel app is my favorite. In addition to their large library of films and TV shows, the Dove Channel app provides a synopsis, review, and rating for each film they offer. Everything on the app has an intensity of content rating, which goes into detail about themes parents could be cautious about showing their children like drug use, or violence for example. Using this system, I can determine if a film I’m going to watch with my family is appropriate for my children. I haven’t seen this feature anywhere else and the Dove Channel’s analysis and breakdown of each film and its content is superb. I highly recommend this app for any parent who likes to be in control of what their kids watch.

Best In Show. These Dog Days of Summer have been the best time for movie watching. While awaiting some of the promising summer releases like “Alpha” I have been watching one movie after another on the Dove Channel about my fluffy friends. This app has a pack of wonderful, uplifting stories featuring some of the best 4-legged actors I can remember seeing. These shows make me smile while my puppies bark at the screen and tails wag at the soundtracks.

Dove Channel. We enjoy the wide array of family entertainment and it’s easy to navigate and find just what we’re looking for. It’s a super value for summer movie watching.

A Blessing for the Summer. With all of the rained out weekends this past June, I ran out of the usual local spots to keep the family entertained. The Dove Channel has been my go-to spot until the sun comes out. It’s been a blessing with so many wholesome films to catch up on and enjoy. The variety allows a stream of films to keep us occupied and entertained. This complimentary app allowed me to preview movies to select for relaxing stress-free matinees, and the budged minded monthly fee makes it affordable to keep days fun indoors without ever getting cabin fever.

Worthless. Tried to watch a movie after downloading the app and it immediately locked up on the first commercial and would do absolutely nothing.

This is not good. Since the update. Can not see the screen. It is distorted. Fix it. Can not pick out ant movies. It won’t landscape.

Customization does not work. This app does not properly read and filter content ratings set at the website for the account. Even if I max out the ratings on the website the app is still remembering the original settings made at the time of signup requiring entry of the password every time I try to play a show. This pretty much makes the “customize your experience” a very bad experience. This is true for the iPad and the iPhone apps. The website reads it correctly, but a desktop computer is not a MOBILE device. Requests to fix this problem have been ignored.

Wholesome Entertainment. I have found that the Dove Channel offers an excellent library of wholesome, and uplifting entertainment. It too often seems as though the storylines of Hollywood summer blockbusters’ somewhat underserved the faith based community with movies to share with family and friends. Well, this app is changing the playing field, with their section of “Inspirational Stories”, “Biblical Stories” and even “Christmas in July”! I started watching for free, and the monthly fee is really quite reasonable, even on a tight budget. There is so much more to chose from all summer and fall.

Can’t sign up. On the TV, won’t go to next screen after typed in email & pw 4 signup for 30 day free trial, jumped to regular login. ok, then tried signing in with email & pw used to register & had the nerve to tell me that email exist already! Now I download from app store 2 sign up & that grey box is covering the spot 4 first name, so i can’t input it, then try 2 submit- you guessed it, must input the first name. CANT your grey box is covering it up! Appears you don’t want new customers, by having all these problems 2 just signup! Using iphone 8

Time’s have change. Time’s sure have changed since I was a young woman going to our local theater with my grandmother to catch a matinee showing! Now that I’m using this app, I’m able to sneak a movie without the hassle of leaving the house. I simply scroll through the lists of films available to perfectly fit whatever mood I’m in. I love how this app allows me a wide variety of family films. The app offers ratings for each film to ensure that I am absolutely choosing a non-violent and subtle movie to offer my kids. Now I don’t have to worry about preparing and planning for long trips to the theaters, I can just take out my smartphone and hit the Dove Channel.

Dove channel. I have been trying to opt out of this channel for months. I have wrote and sent messages and get a run around on how to STOP. They take my money and I do not watch this channel. HELP

Want to cancel. I paid for a year then without asking if I want to continue they just billed me out of the blue , I’ve watched everything I would nothing new in 6 months that I would watch ! They don’t make it easy to cancel ! PLEASE CANCEL !

Great content. Just found in Dove a whole new set of shows that are challenging, entertaining, and fun. I’ve never seen Most of them on the other networks that I stream

Me. What's up with it all being about faith? All the shows and movies are not worth watching. Never heard of most. And most you need to be a member to see. Deleted.

Can I give this 0 stars? Hard pass.. 90% of the content is all church-y type movies and TV and most of everything is only accessible if you pay $7 bucks a month. Even highway to heaven has only 1 season available. This app isn't worth the time or money.

Works on iPad mini.. I absolutely love this app. Great shows. Very family oriented and safe for children to watch. I don’t know why some people are upset about all the “religious” shows? It’s not like that at all. It’s not church shows, nor is it pushing God onto anyone. Sure the movies talk about God in certain manners but what’s wrong with that!? If you’re an atheist then don’t download the app, and I’m sorry for you as well. These guys are kind enough to let you have a free trial to see if you like it or not. So that should be taken as a kind gesture and you should be grateful. You don’t need to be rude and should maybe just say thank you but not interested. Myself... well I’m telling all my friends. Unsubscribe. Too many very old movies and recycled programs. How do I unsubscribe?

Fake advertising!!. Saw adventures of Sammy on an ad but when you looked through the app gallery there’s nothing but a bunch of titles I’ve never even heard of. Disappointing! Atleast advertise what is in your actual gallery rather than putting out false advertisements.

Glad I had the free trial and didn’t waste my money. I’m glad I didn’t actually spend the money on this and tried it free... none of the things advertised were there. They were all non existent. It was all content that I’ve never heard of... glad I didn’t waste my money I cancelled it right away.

Misinformation. I saw an ad for Dove featuring Little House on the Prairie. I wanted my kids to be able to see it. I subscribed and soon realized that they don’t actually carry the series! Was this a mistake, false advertising, or something else? Not happy.

You don't have to be a member to watch a lot of the movies!. I love that there are so many great movies (a lot of which we use for our homeschool). There's a lot of movies here that I can't find anywhere else. We didn't get the membership but have easy access to a lot of shows. Just say "no thanks" if you don't want to pay for a membership. Although, I'm thinking about becoming a member because the stand up comedy stuff is hilarious!

At its best. I watch the movies this App has almost every day on my phone. The video is of a decent quality and it is very easy to browse through the App.

It IS Free!. There is no trickery...you have to create an account, but then it then asks if you want to sign up for a free trial. You can click "no thanks", and proceed to the app with restricted access to the content! There are a good number of videos and shows that you can watch for free, and some that say "member". Check it out!

Complete family app. I love this app, I can watch all great movies with my wife and kids without worrying about the violence or other factors! It’s a complete family app.

Seriously, they're not trying to trick you!. I'm not a "review writer" but wanted to help a good and clean company get a better rating! I've downloaded the app. I did have to set up an account (give my name, email and create a psw) then they asked me if I wanted to try a free trial. Under this option, there is a "no thanks" option and I clicked it and was given access to my new account! That simple! Pros: The shows and movies that are available are clean movies. I'm not concerned my children will accidentally come across an inappropriate movie for their little eyes! It's free access to a good selection of family friendly or kid friendly shows! Cons: there are a lot of shows that you must become a member to watch. (But honestly, it's $4.99 a month. And my Netflix account is more than that!) Please don't let the negative reviews deter you from getting this app. I think the more familiar you become with it, the easier it is to maneuver and work with!

Dove channel. I'm reading the reviews... Does it SAY "popular films"? I don't see that it says that. What seems to be here are the REAL family-friendly films and shows. Things like we saw when we were kids. Personally, I still watch The Waltons, Little House On The Prairie and old movies. This was a time when tv offered wholesome viewing. It doesn't bother me that the parents slept in their own twin beds or that they weren't allowed to say "pregnant". They also weren't advertising teen pregnancy and sex b4 marriage. Now, I'm no Pollyanna, but I still have morals. And I'd like for my now-grown kids and my grandson to see wholesome tv shows. So, thank you, Dove. I'm loving it, so glad I got it😊. This app is fantastic if you care about the content of what you view. It is full of movies to choose from for everyone in your family. Young and old there is plenty of clean wholesome selections. It's like the Netflix for Christian viewing! You won't be disappointed 👍🏽

Dove has great choices. Great movie choices. The negative comments may be because the subscriber doesn't understand the Dove Channels focus is on Family and Christian oriented films. Perhaps their value system is different than that of Doves so it's not the movies, it's merely a different perspective on what is considered a good movie. Meanwhile, I'm very happy.

Very handy. I can watch so many shows and movies anytime and anywhere on my mobile device. It makes watching them very handy.

Family Faith shows I like. Improvements needed. I loved that I was able to watch the life of Rich Mullens movie "Ragmuffin" and "Sing Over Me" documentary of Dennis Jernigan. Also appreciate non faith films are here based on wholesome family entertainment. I have another movie iPhone app thAt works fine. Dove buffers frequently. I was trying to find a movie that Michael W. Smith via Dove app and no help. I suggest a search by actor, director and producing company along with the title.

Excellent. I think this is a wonderful app. So many people dig into the same old excuse, "I don't want your God crap shoved down my throat!" Why do you find the belief in God so offensive? I used to be like that, and yet, it's still so hard to understand now. But it takes getting over yourself, losing your self- centered behavior, and cleansing yourself of the stupid things you used to idolize doing and think were important. There are a whole lot of people that lack that kind of growth and reflection that only the spirit can give. If you don't believe in God, then stop finding yourself so offended.

Love the idea, crashes or won't connect to server. Worked before. Then (I guess because it needed an update) it wouldn't connect to their server. Updated and now it works on the iPad mini but just closes out of the app on my iPhone 6. Update: Just checked the App Store again and it said "update" (after I did that 10 minutes ago). Maybe it was just slow in updating and hopefully it will work now.

Dove Channel App. Please repair this app as soon as possible. The app crashes every time when a movies is selected to be watched on our iPad and iPhone with the iOS 10.1.1. You have a good selection of quality movies, just sad and hurtful that my family can not watch them. It is considered false advertisement when your app does not operate as stated and your charging for the service.

Problem. The app used to work very well. But it doesn't work any more. Every time I choose a movie to watch it goes back to the home screen. It seems that other customers are having the same issue. Are you planning to upgrade the app to make it compatible with O.S 10? Perhaps that will solve the problem. I hope you will fix the problem as soon as possible otherwise you will lose all your customers who are having the same problem. K.G.

Previous issue fixed. I had a hard time with this app at first, couldn't get sound. But customer support was awesome and all is well now.

Unscubscribe. It is a very good channel. The reason I gave it one star is because when I wanted to unsubscribe because I didn't want to pay the bill any more is,I had a terrible problem unsubcribing. Other wise I would have given it a 5 star rating. S someone please help me unsubscribe. I'm not ignorant, but when I try to follow there direction I keep getting put back to Dove channel.

It's a Christian channel. It's the Dove channel people! So why complain about it being about God. That's what the Dove channel is. It's so annoying listening to people complain about God but yet you'll get an app that's very clearly God related.

Perfect. It works pretty well and has an awesome interface making it easy to watch family shows.

Absolutely satisfied. This App is great. It has made watching movies with my family very easy. It never freezes on me and works great with my internet.

Good family safe content. Dove has done a good job. First in selecting content from amongst the slim pickings available that do not insult God, or injure young minds, or portray parents as fools, or promote promiscuity, etc. Then allowing you to further refine your viewing through summaries that rate just how far from "innocent" the show is (language, violence, exposed skin, direct or implied sexuality,vices portrayed) and how it deals with faith, personal responsibility, etc. And finally, by making a good amount of their available content available for free (some not distasteful ads are use to support this) allowing even those on a budget to benefit. For those that are unhappy with the supposed "family friendly" fare of the other streaming services, free for some or 4.99 a month for ad-free access to all of Dove's content is a welcome and refreshing service

Love it. I love this channel. It's just what I need after a long day in this negative world. Brings me hope and makes me feel good. Just wish I could chrome cast from my iPad. I tried from my computer but pic was terrible. -Wisconsin

Love it!. I love the programs and movies. When I needed help with the app, they emailed me right away and told me what to do. I had trouble with my Apple TV. They told me what to do and it worked! Love these people!

Great content. This app is great. Love the movies and TV shows. Exactly what I was looking for. I do have a suggestion though… I am a visually impaired user who uses apples voiceover screen reader. It would be great if you would make this app accessible with voiceover. I am able to read the information about the shows and movies as well as get a movie to play however scrolling through the movie list is not accessible. It just says for example drama button coming-of-age button. Maybe you need to label your pictures with the title of the movie/show. Thank you for a great app.

One of a kind. This is one of a kind App. It lets you watch family stuff in a very easy and comfortable way.

No trickery, just a great service. I'm so grateful there are things like the Dove channel out there. I am so sick of the garbage that is being called "entertainment" in our modern society. More like mindless entertainment. Cartoons for kids used to at least have a moral to the story, nowadays they just further encourage foolish thinking and behavior. We got rid of Netflix and are replacing it with this truly family friendly, video streaming, service for half the price. Thank you Dove!

Better Than Expected. I was very surprised by this app. I, honestly, wasn't expecting much. There are some really good shows here, even for the free side. The only thing missing is the ability to use chrome cast. I hope you will consider adding this feature.
